Looking at humanity through the lens of contemporary society

In Contemporary Society and Social Theory, we study various themes and topics in contemporary society. Our inquiry is wide-ranging and includes specific topics such as: globalization and individualization, risk society, migration, religion, nationalism, gaps and poverty, and NGO/NPO activities. We use broad research approaches encompassing empirical research methods including interviews, questionnaire surveys, and media content analyses as well as engage in the theoretical interrogation of sociological theories.
