Philosophy Experiments

Observing humans through philosophy

The Philosophy Experiments group engages the scientific methods and efforts to untangle the question “What is human?" Our research engages in diverse topics including questions of norms, the metaphysics of existence and death, care and community, otherness (autism), the body, language and art, etc. In addition, we also examine social changes resulting from contact with other civilizations.
