Cultural and Social Anthropology
Observing humans through culture
The Cultural and Social Anthropology group uses theory and fieldwork to engage in questions concerning humans and culture. In particular, we recognize the contemporary age of globalization and attempt to investigate the role of culture in globalization from an international perspective. To consider culture, we examine not only rituals and myths but also contemporary questions concerning technology and conflict.
